I think I’ve fixed the crash. Here’s a new file: http://trumgottist.com/tmp/Frasse.exe.zip

Unpack it, and replace Frasse.exe with this one.

Success! I’ve found the bug. It wasn’t what I suspected, but it was related to old graphics cards. There’s an error in the workaround code for cards that can’t handle textures of any size. I’ll work on a fix…

I updated all of my drivers, directx and have cleaned, fixed the system registry. Nothing has changed.

I tested the game on the another computer too. The problem unfortunately still stands.

In Mehdi’s case we’ve found that it’s most likely due to her or him having a very old graphics card. (An ATI Radeon 7000.) It simply doesn’t have the functionality that the game engine requires. But I’ll try to work around that and get it working anyway. Is your graphics card also old?

I just loved the few things that I played.
I think if I didn’t like it,i would probably uninstall it without trying to make it work :p

Yikes, that’s bad. (I don’t know how you can call the game excellent when you can’t play it. You can’t do much if you can’t open the inventory.) You don’t say what kind of computer you have, but the first thing to check is if the graphics drivers are up to date.
