Rocket Duel update. Version 1.10 uses a high colour mode instead of the previous 256 colours. Updated graphics all over the place. The map is also changed, and may actually be useful now. Don’t expect any more Rocket Duel updates in the near future – I’m now working on an adventure game!
Take a look at the Rocket Duel review over atGame Tunnel! They gave it 8/10.
Rocket Duel is updated once again. 1.02 features among other things a completely new playfield.
Small Rocket Duel update. 1.01 only fixes a small bug.
The Rocket Duel has reached version 1.00! It is now a finished game. The news from version 0.70 are a bunch of small tweaks in code, graphics and music.
A big Rocket Duel update: 0.70! Rocket Duel now has high resolution graphics; better sounding music; a new, easier difficulty setting; a map and two new playfields. No new DOS version, but I don’t think it’ll be missed.
I think I broke one thing while fixing another. Rocket Duel v 0.63 is another bugfix update. The Mars Rocket playfields now work as intended. Also, if nobody change my mind, this will be the last Rocket Duel version to support DOS and six year old computers. I plan to make the next version a bit more techincally advanced and with many changes to make it both look better and play better… But for now, enjoy Rocket Duel 0.63 – a (AFAIK) bugfree game!
Rocket Duel update: 0.62. The only difference is a bugfix, so it’ll work just fine together with the playfield editor 0.61.
The Rocket Duel is updated to version 0.61. The biggest news is that along with it, I’ve also released the playfield editor. Enjoy!
